on another note, props to patrick for taking music seriously and giving a shit and having a heart because i have rarely seen people in general like that. i’ll never forget how he promised me he’d stay all night after the show to make sure every one of us got a photo with him… i half-believed him because what was he supposed to say and how many people tell the truth? but he stayed into the morning of the next day, though i’m sure he was tired as hell, and on top of that most of the people there were there for the wrong reasons. my god, he has character.
